RYAN FOCKLER

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

I am Reno-based Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families better to understand their patterns and ultimately to lead more fulfilling and healthy lives. My work focuses on resolving trauma. I have spent years working with both veterans and civilians in a clinical setting helping them to understand their own nervous systems and bring them a sense of calm and understanding. I use a body based, bottom-up approach using such evidence based practices as EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems.

Trauma truly exists all around us. Some traumas are easier to see than others, but our nervous systems all react the same way. Regardless of the source, I am passionate about helping you heal and understand how to navigate a better future. I am committed to giving you the tools you need in order to thrive.

If you are struggling, I invite you to reach out via the contact form below. I offer complimentary 15 minute phone consultations to see if we are a match. I am licensed in both Nevada and California. I can accept in person session in Reno, Nevada and can see patients via Telehealth who are located anywhere in either state.
